Protecting Nature

Nature is under threat like never before. It is up to everybody to help preserve what we have for future generations before it is all gone.

Apart from the obvious things such as ‘going green’ little things such as taking rubbish (including doggy poo bags) home with you after a walk will stop small animals getting trapped in bottles, and will prevent birds and small mammals from trying to eat your rubbish.

Better together

By working together with other local groups as well as local councils, we have the opportunity to enhance and rehabilitate local areas so that they are better for wildlife.

Our Recent Work

Our members have recently carried out a major clean up up of The Ranges, the A611 (Daniels Way area), as well as tree planting with Reach Out Residents near Nabbs Lane,

It Doesn’t Take Much

All of our members are volunteers.

You do not have to be an expert in anything, just have an interest in flora and fauna.

Just help us by logging your sightings  on our website, or why not join us at one of our monthly meetings at the Station Hotel in Hucknall.

We are a laid back friendly bunch with no hang ups, so what do you have to lose ?
