Allotment Clearance – The Final Push

As you no doubt know, our volunteers have been working hard during 2023 to clear a tired and neglected allotment so that we can open it up to provide a place where people can learn more about our local wildlife, learn about growing their own food and as a place of solace for those in need.

While most of the ‘dirty work’ has now been done, we need one final push to clear the site before we start building the site up for the future.

We now are asking for volunteers to help us fill one last skip with rubbish on Saturday 9th March 2024.

Our allotment is part of the Garden Road Allotments just off Wood Lane.

We will be onsite from 09:00 to whenever the skip is full.
