We are a rapidly growing group of people from throughout Hucknall and attached areas that are passionate about preserving the flora and fauna in our local area.
We work with other local groups as well as Ashfield District Council and Nottinghamshire County Council to preserve, maintain and enhance our local green spaces.
We are a not-for-profit, apolitical group. All monies raised through donations help us to raise awareness and promote the causes of our group as well as protection of our local flora and fauna.
By working together with other local groups as well as local councils, we have the opportunity to enhance and rehabilitate local areas so that they are better for wildlife.
It Doesn’t Take Much
All of our members are volunteers.
You do not have to be an expert in anything, just have an interest in flora and fauna.
Help us by logging your sightings on our website, or why not join us at one of our monthly meetings at the Station Hotel in Hucknall.
We are a laid back friendly bunch with no hang ups, so what do you have to lose ?
Our Recent Work
28th January saw members of our group along with around 50 volunteers plant over 100 trees on the Washdyke Lane recreation area. A big thank you to all who helped and donated to this event.
